Presentation

For a group lunch, what could be better than a chic picnic under the skies of Paris! An atypical restaurant, opening out over the Chaillot hill where your gaze is lost before diving into the kitchen in the shape of a huge copper kettle; the cooks are seen coming to life to prepare, freshly cooked to order, inspired food served at the table.

A hostess guides you to your table. Moments later, your order is taken and lunch is brought to you in a picnic basket for an original meal! To cater for the diversity of the daily rhythms of international clientele, lunch is served from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm take that into account if your clients come from overseas countries!

Those who prefer more intimate dinners will be impressed by the 58 TOUR EIFFEL’s double life. Designed to host the Tower’s guests as a family or in a group at lunchtime, it transforms itself at night into a chic brasserie, offering tourists - and Parisians in search of emotion - an original experience. After sunset, a soothing darkness descends over the restaurant, offering a music lounge feel. Reservations at the 58 TOUR EIFFEL may only be made online at restaurants-toureiffel.com for lunch (service at 12 pm or 1.30 pm) and dinner meals (service at 6.30 pm or 9.00 pm). You can find out, in real time, the restaurant’s availability.

Both the place and the name set the tone: The Eiffel Tower, a universally recognised icon, and Jules Verne, a visionary novelist. For Alain Ducasse, who aims for his restaurants to tell a story, we couldn’t think of a better starting point. Get on board for a spectacular journey.


Presentation

On the second floor of the Eiffel Tower, 125 meters above the capital, the Jules Verne’s unique positioning ensures it is a Parisian location par excellence.

Together with the Jules Verne’s chef, Pascal Féraud, Alain Ducasse has created a totally French, contemporary menu. All the basics of French cuisine are present: the quality of produce, preparation and cooking techniques, rigour and precision. A cuisine stripped of all pretentiousness: each flavour is clearly discernable; the recipes don’t aim to impress, but rather to seduce.

The Jules Verne’s wine menu, compiled by Gérard Margeon, head sommelier of the Alain Ducasse restaurants, offers a selection of the finest French wines from its most spectacular regions, where the more established names go side by side with those of young producers, symbolic of current French oenological dynamism.

Overseen by Francis Coulon, the service is equally impressive. Guests are welcomed from the forecourt at the South pillar, where a private lift will transport them, directly, a hundred and twenty-five metres above.

resto-histoire-08The opening of the "New Jules Verne" in 2007 was the culmination of an incredible adventure. A true challenge due to both the highly symbolic nature of the location and for technical reasons.

The renovations also ensured that particular attention was paid to environmental issues.
