Opening times

Morning or evening, summer or winter… any time is a great time to come back to and have an other look at the Eiffel Tower and its view over Paris. Savour an experience which is different every time depending on the time of day or the time of year! The opening times vary according to the time of year. Don’t forget to check before you embark on your trip to the top of the Tower !

The opening times

The Eiffel Tower is open every single day of the year !

  • from 9 a.m. to midnight from mid-June to early September,
  • from 9:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. during the rest of the year,
  • At Easter weekend and during the Spring holidays : extended opening hours to midnight.

Admission times for groups :

  • Tickets for the top on sale until 9:30 p.m. at the latest
  • Tickets for the 1st and 2nd floors on sale until 10 p.m. at the latest

Access to the top of the tower may be temporarily interrupted due to adverse weather conditions or due to visitor over congestion.

Special safety instructions
The historical nature of the Eiffel Tower, its layout and the very large numbers of visitors, means that special safety measures have to be taken to protect the visiting public. On exceptional occasions either all or a part of the parts open to the public may have to be closed and the contents of bags or packages checked. Oversized luggage as well as animals, with the exception of guide dogs, cannot be allowed into the tower. There are no luggage lockers.
