Summer 2022 construction: RER C closures
Friday 1 July 2022
Modified the 01/07/22
From 15 July to 20 August 2022, there will be construction works on the RER C line. This may impact your journey to the Eiffel Tower.
How is the traffic impacted?
During this period, traffic will be fully interrupted, in both directions:
- Between Pontoise and Invalides
- Between Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines and Invalides
- Between Versailles-Château-Rive-Gauche and Invalides
The station Champs de Mars – Tour Eiffel will therefore no longer be served and will be closed. Traffic will stop at the Musée d’Orsay station.
Our advice for getting to the Tower
There are many other public transport options for you to get to the Eiffel Tower.
You can take metro lines 10, 9, 8, and 6 to access the Eiffel Tower, available right throughout the construction works.
