Discover the ice rink of the Eiffel Tower until February 19th

Monday 21 November 2016

Modified the 02/01/18

From the 15 December 2016 to the 19 February 2017, the ice skating rink will be located on the 1st floor of the tower and features the colours of the World Ice Hockey Champions.

Once again this winter, the Eiffel Tower welcomes all those who want to ice-skate and have fun, 57 metres above ground, overlooking all of Paris. What's new this year? A genuine ice hockey rink (a little smaller naturally!) and a glimpse into this sport which will be be taking centre stage in Paris next May.

Discover ice hockey with professional-led activities

Prior to the World Ice Hockey Championships, a major sports event which will take place next May in Paris, the Eiffel Tower ice rink offers a unique opportunity to discover this sport which remains relatively unknown in France.
Introductory ice hockey sessions are on offer, free of charge, provided in partnership with the French Ice Hockey Federation. Club trainers will be present to introduce skating techniques, demonstarte how to use the equipment, least forgetting the laws of the game!
Sessions will be held in the early afternoons, 4 days per week during the Christmas holidays, and then subsequently, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Hockey, and much more!

In addition to the hockey sessions, the ice rink is open to those who wish to enjoy an unforgettable and unique opportunity to skate at the Eiffel Tower every day from 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.. Everybody is welcome: skates (sizes child 7.5 to adult 13) are available to hire, snowblades and sledges are available for younger children. Persons with reduced mobility are welcome: the ice rink is accessible and sledges for adults are also provided.

A "hat counter" for shopping and an outdoor bar for relaxation

Hats are bang on trend! A special Eiffel Tower model will be available in the small shop by the ice rink, made by the 100% French brand Cabaïa, with its famous concept: 1 hat/3 interchangeable pom-poms! To finish up, what could be better for a snack than the outdoor bar serving its winter specialities such as soups, raclette cheese sandwiches, waffles, mulled wine, hot chocolate, etc.

A winter visit: the opportunity to discover or rediscover the 1st floor

Although the Eiffel Tower bestows a spectacular view over the capital, there is lots to see on the first floor: glass flooring enabling you to come face-to-face with the empty space, a museographic tour and immersive film to get to know everything there is to know about the Tower, the GUS children's tour to learn whilst having fun...there's plenty to enjoy a nice day out with family or friends this winter!

The ice skating rink is open every day from the 15 December 2016 until the 19 February 2017 from 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
