How to enhance your visit to the Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower offers the opportunity to enrich your visit with several exclusive activities and experiences, both free and paid.

Free: focus on the mobile visitor guide

To find your way around, get your bearings, and learn more about the monument, the Eiffel Tower mobile visitor guide is a real “visitor's companion.” It provides all the information you need to make the most of your visit: a guide for each floor with an interactive map showing all points of interest by category: restrooms, restaurants, elevators/stairs, heritage. The guide also offers interactive 360° panoramas and quizzes. Everything you need for an immersive and interactive visit.

No need to download the guide! Simply connect to the Internet and go to the following address: guide.toureiffel.paris. If you don't have a mobile network, use the Eiffel Tower's free WiFi, _WiFi_Tour_Eiffel.

Free: immersive experiences on your smartphone

Have fun while discovering the Tower’s history! Want to follow in Gustave Eiffel’s footsteps? After scanning the QR code, dive into the world of the Eiffel Tower’s creator through these augmented-reality experiences on your smartphone. Look for the signs featuring Gustave Eiffel and QR codes on the second lower level, the first level, and in the center of the forecourt to uncover more secrets and stories about the Iron Lady.

Free: “Minus” activity booklets

For your children during and after the visit, don't miss the two “Minus” booklets. Children under 10 will learn while having fun during their visit. These two educational booklets (one on Gustave Eiffel, the other on the maintenance of the monument) are free and available at the elevator landings and at the bottom of the stairs.

Free: The museum tour on the 1st floor

To learn more about the history of the Tower, we recommend stopping (on your way down, if you take the elevator) on the first floor. This level, the most spacious in the Tower, is a must-see: immerse yourself in the discovery trail, a historical museum exhibition where you can explore digital photo albums and documents, reproductions of objects, and other treasures. Nearby, you will discover an authentic section of the historic spiral staircase that connected the second floor to the top. This is the staircase that Gustave Eiffel used to go to his office at the top! The first floor also offers a wide range of dining options and a large gift shop.
