A magical 2024 holiday season at the Eiffel Tower

Come and enjoy the magic of Christmas and the holiday season at the Eiffel Tower.

The Eiffel Tower certainly knows how to celebrate the holiday season and welcomes visitors to a magical atmosphere with dazzling lights, festive decorations, visits from Santa and a cozy first-floor terrace. Here are our recommendations to make sure your visit is an unforgettable and magical experience !

The perfect time of year for an evening visit

If you haven’t already done so, we recommend visiting the Eiffel Tower late afternoon or in the evening, when the whole experience is made all the more magical thanks to the dazzling lights and sparkles. And the City of Light stretches out before you! In December, it gets dark early so make the most of it. The Eiffel Tower is open every day for evening visits. Last admission is at 10:45pm up until December 19, and then at midnight from December 20. The only exception is December 31. On this day, the monument will be closing early (last admission at around 7pm), and only the two restaurants inside the monument - Madame Brasserie and the Jules Verne - will remain open for New Year’s Eve.

For those who choose to visit at dusk, the special lighting in the Eiffel Tower gardens and on the esplanade will add a particularly magical touch to an evening visit, for the whole of December and up until January 6.

Stop by the first-floor winter terrace and transparent dome

Just like every year, the first-floor winter terrace is open to visitors from November 29. The cozy winter terrace and transparent dome welcome visitors in a warm and friendly festive atmosphere for a drink and a bite to eat out of the cold! On the seasonal menu, you’ll find tartiflette, a range of tasty pancakes and waffles and a selection of comforting hot beverages that you’d expect to see during the Christmas period, including traditional grogs with apple and ginger, the classic hot chocolate, cappuccinos and spiced lattes to add even more flavor to this season.

Meet Santa!

The run-up to Christmas is also the perfect opportunity to meet Santa, for an unforgettable experience for the whole family! Don’t miss this moment and take a souvenir back home with you thanks to the ‘photocall’ on the terrace. Santa will be stopping by on Wednesdays (from 10am to 6pm) and weekends from December 7 to 18, and then every day from December 21 to 24 (from 10am to 8pm),  offering children and their families an unforgettable experience.
