Tuck into organic free-range chicken and vegetables grown within a 62-mile radius at the restaurant Madame Brasserie, cool off with a beer brewed in Ile-de-France on our summer terrace and enjoy a sandwich where the bread has been made with flour from Ile-de-France…. You can do all that at the Eiffel Tower!
Promoting local know-how and locally sourced produce!
The Eiffel Tower Artisans Guild was founded in 2022 on the initiative of Michelin-star chef Thierry Marx, who oversees the restaurant Madame Brasserie on the first floor. An eco-friendly approach supporting excellence which selects and showcases the finest local artisans based in the Parisian region. They must be committed to an integrated, high-quality production process which respects the environment. The Guild also gives pride of place to product creativity. As such, with a view to changing the seasonal menus of the two restaurants and takeaway outlets at the Eiffel Tower at regular intervals, the jury* of the Artisans Guild meets twice a year to select and approve a wide variety of artisans, including breeders, grain growers, market gardeners, drinks producers and artisan caterers.
Changing the menus in step with the seasons
In June 2025, the jury of the Eiffel Tower Artisans Guild* met for its fifth edition, to select the artisans from the Ile-de-France region whose products will feature on the fall/winter 2025 menus. Each artisan presents their approach and products to the jury. For this fifth edition, nine winning artisans were selected: raspberry jam voted as the world’s best, beers and non-alcoholic beverages with original flavors, artisanal pasta, organic grains and flour – all sourced within a 62-mile radius of Paris!
You’ll no longer come to the Eiffel Tower just for the views.
We reiterate our ambition to raise the Eiffel Tower’s profile as a place that naturally celebrates local culinary excellence.
What are the eating and drinking options at the Eiffel Tower?
The Eiffel Tower’s catering options include two restaurants, Madame Brasserie located on the first floor and Le Jules Verne located on the second floor, as well as various takeaway outlets: the buffet on the esplanade, the Bistro and the seasonal terrace bar on the first floor, Comptoir Gustave and the macaron bar on the second floor as well as the champagne bar at the top.
- The restaurant Madame Brasserie is open for lunch and dinner, with prior booking, separately from a visit to the monument or combined with a visitor ticket (at certain times of day).
 - The Madame Brasserie lounge bar welcomes you all day, with no booking required (subject to availability), for breakfast, afternoon tea, a coffee break or cocktail.
 - The two-Michelin-star fine dining restaurant Le Jules Verne must be booked in advance, separately from a visit to the monument.
 - The takeaway outlets located on the esplanade and on each floor of the Eiffel Tower welcome you during the monument’s opening times. They serve a variety of options which change with the seasons: set menus, hot food, sandwiches, savory or sweet snacks to enjoy on the go, hot and cold drinks.

*The jury of the Artisans Guild is chaired by Thierry Marx. Representatives of the Société d’Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel (SETE) and the company Sodexo Live! which manages the catering options at the Tower (within the Umanis group) sit on the jury, alongside external members. The Artisans Guild meets about twice a year to select artisans from Ile-de-France for the purposes of changing its menus and drinks choices at regular intervals.
