All our answers to your questions about The Vertigo of the Tower
What is the attraction The Vertigo of the Tower?
The Vertigo of the Tower is a 40-meter-long bridge, designed exclusively with nets, connecting the south pillar and the north pillar of the monument on the 1st floor of the Tower at a height of 60 meters. Your challenge is to cross this suspension bridge for dizzying sensations similar to those of a Himalayan bridge in the mountains! The attraction is 100% secure, with the bridge being fully caged.
Who is the experience for?
The attraction "The Vertigo of the Tower" is open to all ticketed visitors of the Eiffel Tower, adults and children from 3 years old. Children under 12 must be accompanied by at least one adult. "The Vertigo of the Tower" is obviously not recommended for people suffering from severe vertigo. Due to the configuration of the bridge, accessible only by stairs, the attraction is not accessible to visitors with reduced mobility (in a wheelchair, or using canes or crutches).
What are the risks?
The only risk is that you'll want to do it again! The bridge is 100% caged with 2 superimposed layers of knotted nets (25,000 meshes!), and surrounded by an anti-fall mesh for objects. The bridge is extremely solid and held in place by multiple parallel and lateral cables. Its resistance is over 30,000 kg/m².
How to participate?
The attraction is free for visitors of the Eiffel Tower and open every day until March 9 between 10:30 AM and 8 PM . The bridge is located on the 1st floor, which is accessible by stairs on the way up, by elevator or stairs on the way down. If you haven't bought your Eiffel Tower visit tickets yet: check our official online ticket office to book. If the offer you are looking for is no longer available (the summit destination is often fully booked well in advance during school holidays), you can also buy tickets at the ticket office on the day of your visit for immediate ascent.
Once at the Tower, register on-site on the 1st floor
When you arrive on the 1st floor, present yourself in front of the Ferrié Pavilion and its bistro, at the entrance of the experience "The Vertigo of the Eiffel Tower". Scan the QR code to register for free for a time slot within the next 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes. Register all the participants in your group. Once registered, present yourself with the ticket received by email at the entrance of the attraction line, exactly at the time of your slot for smooth flow: for example, if you book for 2:15 PM, present yourself at that time, neither before nor after. If there is no wait, you can pass without needing to register in advance.
