Getting to the Eiffel Tower
Discover how to come to the tower
Are you planning a visit to the Eiffel Tower and have questions about how to buy your tickets, our pricing, how to get to the Tower, and what you can do once you get there? In this FAQ we try to answer all of your questions. Enter a key word to search, or choose one of the four different subjects.
The “stairs + elevator to the top” ticket is a very attractive and more economical offer for those who want to enjoy a complete tour of the monument, all the way to the top, without any time constraints. They allow you to avoid waiting for the elevator from the ground floor to the second floor: access to the staircase (whether you have already purchased tickets online or are buying tickets at the ticket office) is always smoother than access to the elevator.
“Stairs + elevator to the top” tickets are available for purchase online in advance, in very limited quantities. You can buy them mainly at the monument's ticket offices on the day of your visit for immediate entry at the individual rate. Check here for the official Eiffel Tower rates.
Please note that for safety reasons, people with reduced mobility are not allowed to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower. In addition, we advise visitors who are not in good physical condition or families with very young children to opt for the elevator.
If you have bought tickets to visit the 2nd floor, you will not be given the possibility of buying an additional ticket for the top.
